The Loss of the Three Relics

At the fall of the Innanian Empire, the Three Relics from the temple on Mount Mitherion were lost in the Scourging of the World. After many centuries, the Tselem, the guardians of truth, discovered one of the Relics – The Book of Wisdom. Another Relic – the golden Mirror of Foreshadows – fell into the hands of the enemies of the Tselem, the evil Tannin, who oppress the people of many of the Realms of the world. These mystical objects gave their possessors unnatural abilities, and created a tense stalemate between the opposing forces.
Unknown to all but a few, the Book of Wisdom has again been lost. Allies of the Tselem have been secretly searching for the Book. But the Tannin have discovered the secret and are now searching for the Book, too. In addition, the ruthless Maegur, vassals of the Tannin, have unearthed the third Relic – the Brazier of Illumination.
Not since the Scourging have the Relics been united and the Tannin lust for the chance to possess all three. But, to wield them they must first destroy their greatest threat – the heir to the throne of Kelrinn. It is foretold in ancient prophecies, that if a rightful heir of the Realm of Kelrinn lives, only he can wield the Relics. And, should he restore the Relics to the temple, a new Empire would be established, destroying the power of the Tannin, bringing peace to the Realms.
Now, the son of a murdered king, and the last of his line, must set aside his monastic training, reclaim the throne from his father’s murderer, and embrace his destiny to usher in the Second Empire. With the aid of the Tselem, and some unexpected companions, he is swept into a desperate quest to recover the lost Book before the Tannin, and free the people of the Realms.
